BOOKING POLICY: All session bookings are by appointment only – no walk-ins. All new clients must fill out and sign our booking form, available in-studio or online. A 50% deposit is required to confirm all session bookings. Deposits must be received at least (7) seven days prior to the session. Phat Planet Studios must receive notice of a client’s intent to cancel or re-schedule a session no later than 48 hours (2 days) before their such session.
COVID-19 INFO: Please note that we are observing COVID protocols during all sessions according to the CDC. Please contact the A&R dept. to obtain our Covid Policy before your session booking so you are aware of protocols. We are a SAG/Aftra approved audio house and take all protocols and procedures seriously. We are focused on keeping our clients, talent and staff SAFE!

If you are a recent or past graduate of an accredited university or audio school, we invite you to contact us. Internships (although non-paid), allow young or established engineers to gain much-needed experience in a professional real recording environment. Necessary qualifications include but not limited to; excellent working knowledge of electronics, musical instruments and superb computer skills. We require you to hold a minimum ProTools Certification PT110 (fundamentals II). You must play a musical instrument and the ability to read music is a plus, excellent people skills, and a persevering, positive attitude. We don’t take students that are still in school, you must be graduated from a college or university. We don’t do short-term or summer internships. All interns are expected to transition to assistant and lead engineers to become part of the Phat Planet team. Lazy, boring people need not apply!
